Job Description

Position Overview

Under general supervision, this role provides administrative and analytical support to land and operations teams. The Land Technician/Administrative Analyst is responsible for maintaining accurate records, compiling reports, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, and ensuring key land-related information is organized, current, and accessible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update daily reports related to wells, leases, elections, proposals, and third-party activity
  • Gather and analyze land-related data from internal teams and external partners to prepare management reports
  • Communicate regularly with brokers, landowners, royalty owners, and partner stakeholders to obtain and validate information
  • Manage departmental calendars to track deadlines, meetings, and milestones
  • Organize and maintain land records, agreements, and electronic files to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Review land agreements and leases to identify key terms, restrictions, and potential issues
  • Coordinate and share land data with team members to support collaboration and effective decision-making
  • Process, code, and submit invoices and landowner payments for approval
  • Support additional clerical, reporting, and administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required

Core Competencies

  • Minimum 2 years in an Administrative/Analyst role
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) and Adobe products
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage and organize large volumes of information accurately
  • Analytical skills with experience reviewing data and compiling reports
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities
  • Self-directed worker capable of operating independently while contributing to team objectives
  • Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to follow established processes and identify opportunities for improvement

This is an in-office role, Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm.
